This page covers the waitlist on this website. The Ask Auntie app will have its own privacy policy when it launches.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you save your spot.
- Where you came from, if the link you followed said so (for example, which post). That's the
utm_sourceandutm_contentpart of a link. - Your answer to “where do you eat out most?”, if you tap one.
That's all. No name, no phone number, no location.
What we use it for
- To send you the beta invite and the launch email. Nothing else.
- To see which posts bring people to the list.
- To plan the beta. It starts with Thai menus, so we want to know who eats out in Thailand.
We don't sell your email, share it for advertising, or add you to other lists.
Where it's kept
Your email and answers are stored with Kit (kit.com), the email service we use to send the list. Kit processes it on our behalf.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or track you across sites. This site sets no cookies of its own.
Leaving
Every email has an unsubscribe link. One tap and you're off the list. To have your email and answers deleted completely, write to hello@askauntie.app and we'll do it.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, whenever you like. Write to hello@askauntie.app.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the next email before it applies.
